Code of Conduct
Membership in Gluckstadt FC is a privilege. Every player, parent, and coach commits to the following standards as a condition of participation.
Player Standards
- • Show up on time, prepared, and ready to compete every session.
- • Treat coaches, teammates, opponents, and officials with respect.
- • Demonstrate effort, attitude, and accountability in every moment.
- • Represent the club with class on social media and in public.
- • Take ownership of academics — student first, athlete second.
Parent Standards
- • Be a positive presence on the sideline. Cheer; do not coach.
- • Allow coaches to coach and officials to officiate.
- • Speak respectfully to and about every member of the GFC family.
- • Honor the 24-hour rule before discussing concerns with a coach.
- • Model the values you want your player to live by.
Coach Standards
- • Develop the whole player — technically, tactically, physically, and personally.
- • Maintain SafeSport certification and follow all governance standards.
- • Communicate clearly, consistently, and professionally with families.
- • Hold every player to the same standard, regardless of role.
- • Continue your own education in the craft of coaching.
Disciplinary Process
Violations are addressed through a graduated process: verbal correction, written warning, suspension, and dismissal. Egregious violations may result in immediate dismissal at the discretion of the club director.
